Below are the latest table tennis results for the Year 8/9 First League Meeting held at Abbeydale Grange School on Thursday 26th November.Many thanks to Abbeydale Grange School for hosting.
It was great to see a good turn out with the number of teams reaching double figures for the first time for a few years. It is encouraging to see Park Academy join the league. During the evening there were 216 matches played in total which is an incredible achievement in the space of 1 and a half hours. (Mr leaver, Mr Howse and myself were kept very busy as you can imagine)
King Ecgbert returned and provided stiff opposition for the rest, forging an early lead in the league table with Myers Grove, Abbeydale and Tapton in close pursuit.
The next evening will be on Tuesday 8th December for the Year 7, meeting at Myers Grove school with a 4.15 start. Hopefully we will see another increase in last year's entries.
