December News - Y5 Spring leagues avilable in files below. Marvellous Mosborough Win Sheffield Schools Y6 Football League, on goal difference only from terrific Carterknowle in second with plucky Lound and Bradway taking up 3rd and 4th spots. Brilliant to watch so many talented players, (and managers), putting every ounce of effort and skill into their football last night. All four teams partnership winners and now Mosborough overall League winners. Well done everyone. Thank you to Brian Bradley for attending and presenting the Sheffield League Shield named in his honour. And so ends an unusual, experimental Y6 football season. The way forward next year will probably be for local leagues of 5 or 6 schools, leading to a Sheffield final. We will see, I am happy to receive your views between now and next June, it is your league. Thank you to all teachers, SSCO's and Secondary PE staff who went the extra mile and tried hard to make their cluster groups and partnership finals a success. Your efforts have been appreciated by me and I am sure by the hundreds of boys who have taken part in more than 60 schools.
