If you are hosting a race please ensure:

  • That maps of the course are available for runners to observe.
  • That the course is well marked and that marshals are clearly identifiable.
  • That all marshals are aware of who the emergency First Aider is. A Paramedic will be in attendance at all events this season.

I will provide results cards and collect them in at the end.  I will organise results and post them on the SFSS website.

Please collect your score cards from me BEFORE the first race at 10.00am (9.30 for City Championships) and return them as soon as possible after each race.  Results are compiled as soon as I get home on that day.

LATE SCORES CANNOT BE TAKEN.

Please add up the score and write the school name, age and which team A, B or C etc.  Highest 4 runners make the A team, next 4 the B and next 4 the C team.  In the intermediate and Senior age groups, teams with only 3 runners will now get points too.

This year will once again see the Champion Cross Country school competition.  The winning TEAM will be the one with the biggest total points score from A teams in Y7, Junior and Intermediate age groups over the league season.

Please Note - Entry forms, signed by the headteacher should be returned to me as soon as possible.
