The 117th Presentation Evening of the Sheffield Federation for School Sports was held at the Sheffield United FC, Sheffield on Thursday 24th November 2011 with the Lord Mayor and other dignatories in attendance. The Awards went to
Primary Schools Sports Personality of the Year Ellie Leach of Rainbow Forge Primary School presented by the Lord Mayor.
Primary School Sports Award for the most successful Primary School in terms of Sport. Phillimore School presented by Councillor C Ross.
ALDERMAN SEWELL AWARD for the Schools' Sports Personality. Georgie Haycock of Stocksbridge High School presented by the Lord Mayor..
CHAIRMAN'S AWARD selected by the Chair of SFSS. David Phiri of Abbeydale Grange School presented by Mr DMcCarthy.
DAVE AIZLEWOOD MEMORIAL TROPHY awarded to the Primary School that gains the most points at the Sheffield Schools Primary Athletics Championships. Nether Green Junior School presented by Mrs E Aizlewood.
HAROLD WHITHAM MEMORIAL AWARD for the most outstanding performance by a Sheffield athlete at the English Schools' Athletics Association National Championships. Natalia Hackett of Sheffield High School presented by Mr U Rennie.
THE PAULINE FIDLER MEMORIAL AWARD chosen by Sheffield Schools Football Association and presented in recognition of service to schools football. Cole Johnson of High Storrs School presented by Mr J Fidler.
THE FRANK SCHOFIELD MEMORIAL AWARD given to a Sheffield pupil who has made an outstanding contribution to his teams' efforts during the Sheffield Schools Cricket Association finals. Matt Gill of Ecclesfield School presented by Mr P Flinton.
JOHN MOSS TROPHY Presented to the school or PE department which has achieved the most notable overall sporting success over the previous year. King Ecgbert's School Mrs P Moss.
FEDERATION ENDEAVOUR AWARD An Award to recognise the pupil who, in the Federation's view, has overcome
significant difficulty to achieve success in their chosen sport. Alexander Thompson presented by the Lord Mayor.
SPECIAL AWARDS Presented to those who have, in the opinion of the Federation, made some special contribution to School Sport. Amy Potter of Sheffield High School presented by Lim Ashmore, James Gray of Tapton School presented by Mr F Anthony, Olivia Noble of Sheffield High School presented by Councillor C Ross.
