Date for the Federation's AGM announced.

The Annual General meeting of Sheffield Federation for School Sports for the school year 2007/08 will take place at Sheffield Park Hotel on 20 November 2008.

Proceedings will begin at 7pm with the presentation of awards. In addition to the usual Alderman Sewell Award, The Chairman's Award, the Harold Whitham Award and the Dave Aizlewood Memorial Trophy the management committee have sanctioned the presentation of two further awards.

These are the Pauline Fidler Memorial Trophy awarded by Sheffield Schools Football Association for service to Sheffield Boys Football and The Frank Scholfield Memorial Trophy (kindly donated by the Scholfield family) awarded by the Sheffield Schools Cricket Association to the player who makes a valuable contribution during the cricket finals day.

The awards ceremonies will be followed by the AGM.
