Eleanor Goodwin and Mason Barlow take the honours at the first Primary Schools Autumn League Cross Country race.

The first Primary Schools Cross Country Autumn League race for the school year 2008-09 was held on 27 September at Brunswick School.

In the girls race the first three places went to 1.Eleanor Goodwin (Lydgate), 2.Emma Smith (Bradfield Dungworth) and 3.Rebecca Trower (Ballifield). The boys first three finishers were 1.Mason Barlow (Mosborough), 2.Jonathan Shield (Abbey Lane) and Thomas Yarrow (Bradfield Dungworth).

In the team event Ballifield 'A' lead in the girls competition and Totley All Saints lead in the boys competition.
