Carfield Girls triumph in seven-a-side football comepetition.

In the ESFA Under 11 Girls, seven-a-side competition held at Sheffield United Academy on 26 November, Carfield School emerged as Sheffield champions winning a tense final on penalties against Meynell school.

Rainbow Forge, Pye Bank, Lowedges, Mosborough, Hunters Bar and Parson Cross schools were the other contestents on the day.

Carfield and Meynell now represent Sheffield in the South Yorkshire round on 7 January 2009 at Sheffield United Academy.
