South Yorkshire Team to compete in the National Cross Country Championships dominated by Sheffield runners.

Out of a possible maximum of 72, Sheffield has seen 42 of its students chosen to be part of the South Yourkshire team that will compete in the English Schools' Athletics Association National Cross Country Championships on 21 March 2009. The Sheffield athletes are drawn from 16 different schools plus one college. Pride of place goes to King Edward VII and Tapton Schools who, between them, have 23 students selected.
