Four Schools share the Relays Trophies.

The event that signals the start of Sheffield Schools' Athletics season is the annual 'Relays' competition which this year took place on 29 April.

There are six diferent trophies competed for. Y7only , Y8 and 9 combined, Y10 and 11 combined make up the three girls awards and the boys have the same three age groupings.

Each age group has three events to complete; a 4 x 200m, a 3 x 800m, and a traditional 4 x 100m.

In the girls events Firth Park were the winners in the Y7 category with Sheffield High School for Girls taking the two other age group trophies.

Meadowhead also took home two trophies in the boys competitions (Y7 and the Y10/11) with Silverdale completing the quartet of schools who won by taking the Y8/9 boys competition.
