Cricket update. Y8 girls tournament and boys league finals.

At the inaugural Sheffield Schools Y8 girls Kwik Cricket tournament held on 2 July 2009 at Shiregreen CC, Hinde House emerged as winners and as a result are the first holders of what is hoped will be an annual event. In glorious weather Hinde House finished first ahead of All Saints, Firth Park, King Ecgbert and Park Academy.

In the boys cricket leagues the Y7 and Y8 finalists have been decided. Next Tuesday (7 July) Firth Park will play King Ecgbert at Y7 and High Storrs will play Abbeydale at Y8. The finals are being held at Collegiate CC, Abbeydale Park, both with a 10.30am start.
