Again a great all round team performance, despite a dogged display from ER and missing 3 early chances, Sheffield showed determination and plenty of good approach play, without converting the amount of possession to goals, ER would take heart from the 0-0 half time scoreline. Striker & Midfield changes meant Sheffield started the second half with renewed impetus. Darwent being a constant threat to the ER defence, along with MOM Ryan who deserved a goal for his efforts throughout. A solid defensive performance led by the Sheffield Captain Cooper, with Hodgkiss up against the ER's best player, they kept ER efforts at goal to a minimum and meant the first clean sheet of the season,Well Done Boys!. The Sheffield midfield worked hard with Hackney & Taylor providing both the guile and ball winning challenges, this was complemented by the flair and skills of the wide boys, Askham & Law. Full time 4-0.

Many thanks again for ALL the parents assistance, with special thanks this week to Mrs Hodkiss, Mrs Hastings & Mrs Cooper with their efforts with the set up of a tea & coffee station for ALL the Sheffield Boys age groups, their parents and visitors use, this facility is hoped to be continued and will be hopefully available "pitchside" at all the U11's home games, again thank-you, keep up the good work!
