Another good all round & workmanlike team performance, and despite missing a quite a few goal-scoring opportunities a deserved 6-0 victory, although double figures were within reach if a good number of the chances had been converted to goals Sheffield showed determination and plenty of good approach play, without converting the amount of possession and chances into goals. Rother Valley worked hard, but rarely threatened the Sheffield goal apart from a couple of set pieces & without the Sheffield keeper having to make a save throughout. Francis being a constant threat scoring a deserved hat-trick, along with Darwent 1, Pollard 1 & Law 1 (the best worked goal and finish of the match). A solid, uncompromising defensive performance, with Bates & Hurst catching the eye and this meant the second clean sheet of the season, Well Done Boys!. The Sheffield midfield worked hard with Hackney & Taylor providing most of the work-rate, distribution and ball winning challenges, with Taylor deserving his MOM award.
